The BYD SONG PLUS is a spacious mid-size SUV from BYD that combines contemporary styling, advanced electrified powertrains and a technology-focused interior. Its exterior design follows BYD’s modern “Ocean” design language, giving the vehicle a broad, sophisticated appearance with distinctive LED lighting, aerodynamic body lines and sporty 19-inch alloy wheels. Depending on the market and model year, the SONG PLUS is offered as a DM-i plug-in hybrid (PHEV) and, in some markets, as a fully electric EV.The SONG PLUS DM-i uses BYD’s Dual Mode Intelligent plug-in hybrid technology, designed to make the electric motor the primary source of propulsion while combining it with a gasoline engine for longer journeys.
